Mini Fridge Monday-French Toast Cocktail


Have you recovered yet from this past holiday season? It’s taken me up until now to start feeling some type of normalcy and getting back into a routine again. Next year, I would love to take a vacation after the holidays, even if it's for a day or two, just to “reset.”


If you’re one of the lucky ones who are able to get away, then I have the perfect travel size cocktail for you. And it will leave plenty of space in your room’s mini fridge for other beverages.


You only need 3 ingredients…Bailey’s Irish Cream, butterscotch schnapps and cinnamon schnapps. This sweet, flavored cocktail reminds me of the milk that’s left after eating a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal except stronger…much stronger...


Actually, if you’re not a fan of a strong cinnamon flavor, I would recommend not using the whole mini bottle of cinnamon schnapps. I know the next time I make this cocktail; I will use half the amount. No more college flashbacks of drinking Goldschlager shots for me. Let’s just say, that experience didn’t end well, and we’ll leave it at that.



Ingredients:

  • 50 ml Bailey’s Irish Cream (mini bottle)

  • 50 ml butterscotch schnapps (mini bottle)

  • 50 ml cinnamon schnapps (mini bottle)


Instructions:

  1. Fill a shaker halfway with ice.

  2. Combine all 3 ingredients into cocktail shaker and shake until chilled.

  3. Pour into glass.

If you want to be fancy, pour your cocktail into a chilled glass with a brown sugar rim. Or, if you want to drink a smaller amount or if you're sharing, then I recommend chilled shot glasses.
