When you read most paranormal investigators’ bios, usually they mention they were visited by a deceased family member or had a spirit in their house at an early age. To be honest, I am a little jealous because neither of those incidents happened to me.

Instead, my first introduction to the paranormal involved bad hair, plaid pants and cheesy story lines.  Yes folks, I discovered the show “Kolchak: The Night Stalker”.

This 1970’s television series started it all and is the reason I am where I am today.  Well, that and maybe the fact my mother got my name off an old cemetery headstone in Charleston, South Carolina. Thanks mom!

Because of my passion for history, love of story telling and the attraction to the unknown, I have definitely been led down a strange but amazing path.  I've traveled throughout the U.S. and Europe to visit and investigate haunted places, met some of the coolest people who share my enthusiasm and beliefs in the paranormal, and to my family's surprise and amusement, volunteered them to participate on “Scariest Places on Earth".

For six years, I was a co-host on "Darkness Radio", a paranormal talk radio show (2009-2015), with David Schrader and Tim Dennis.  I was a cast member of Biography Channel's "Ghost Bait" (2013) and have been a reoccurring guest on "Strange Evidence" (2018 to present).

Today, you can find me in Detroit, visiting antique and salvage shops for my 1883 home renovation (psst... it's haunted). And, I am proud to be the owner of Paranormal Girl.  A company I started because I wanted to create a lifestyle brand where women inspire and encourage each other.
