Easy Nutella Fudge Recipe

If you have had the pleasure of visiting Mackinac Island, Mackinac City or the surrounding area, then odds are, you probably have tried Mackinac fudge. There are fudge shops everywhere you turn and even gas stations sell it. I think it's considered as one of the major food groups there. And you never just leave with one small order of fudge. Once people find out where you're going on holiday, you will have a list of requests that you'll now have to fulfill.

But alas, I won't be up that way until August, and I want fudge now. So, I did the next best thing and made my own fudge. It was super easy and fast! Only 4 ingredients and it was delicious! And better yet, it included my favorite ingredient....Nutella!!!! Give it a try, you won't regret it!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Nutella

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk

  • 11 oz. milk chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Line an 8x8 pan with aluminum foil

  2. Combine the Nutella, vanilla, sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips in a saucepan over low heat, stir constantly until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.

  3. Pour the mixture into the lined pan and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

Just a quick note, most bags of chocolate chips are 11.5 oz not 11 oz. I threw the whole bag in (I was feeling adventurous) and made sure to scrape out the can of sweetened condensed milk with a spatula so I had enough liquid. So good!!! Next time though, I think I'll sprinkle a little sea salt and maybe add some walnuts. Yum!!!

Enjoy!
