Whatever Happened to Frederick Valentich

ValentichOne of the fabulous things about being a radio co-host is receiving stories from our Darkness Radio listeners. I love hearing stories especially when they come from other countries!  So cool!

Now, I will be honest here. I do not know much about UFOs. I do know however, that many reputable people such as Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, Jackie Gleason, Mick Jagger and John Lennon (just to name a few), have had personal experiences with UFO sightings. The more I learn, the more I am becoming a believer.

A couple of months ago, I received an email from a Darkness Radio listener who proceeded to tell me about a UFO case involving a pilot by the name of Frederick Valentich. He wrote “Australia has its fair share of interesting things as well, especially UFO stories. We have a few famous ones here.

AustraliamapThere was a guy flying a light aircraft over Bass Strait (Lonely stretch of water between Australia and Tasmania) and was buzzed by a UFO and then totally disappeared.

This happened in 1978, and it was recorded by Melbourne air traffic controllers (the recorded conversation can still be heard today) it gives you chills when you hear him describe the UFO buzzing his aircraft. He was never heard from again, and there was no wreckage found. His name was Frederick Valentich. If you do a google search, it makes for interesting reading.”

I did google Frederick’s name and was amazed by what I found!

Not only did I read articles about his disappearance, but I found an article on www.abovetopsecret.com that he could be alive!

It quoted MUFON as saying “perhaps even more alarming is a case investigated by Spanish researcher Manuel Carballal. According to the testimony of a number of witnesses, a young man who identified himself as Frederick Valentich, the Australian pilot who disappeared mysteriously in 1978, was alive and well in 1990 at Plaza del Charco, a seaport square on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands.

Displaying an Australian passport to prove his claim, Valentich told those with whom he spoke on several occasions that he now belonged to a group of humans who had been recruited by extraterrestrials. It is also worth noting that the supposed Valentich showed no signs of aging, and resembled the photos circulated around the time of his disappearance at the age of 20.”

If that story is true then WOW!!!
