Gris Grimly, My New Love!

For a very long time, one of my favorite illustrators was Edward Gorey. You may recognize his work as the opening for “Masterpiece Mystery” on PBS. I loved his macabre illustrations.

SantaClawsCasewrapMech=B.inddWell my friends, he has been replaced. I have moved on to a new love and his name is Gris Grimly. His work is absolutely phenomenal!

I have been collecting his children books over the past few years.  Yes, I am a grown woman, but I love his dark and twisted style. And actually, his books would appeal to both the young and old….so there!  Ha!

If you love Tim Burton, then you’ll definitely love him. Trust me!  You must check him out!
